» 7th Workshop of Computational Chemistry and Molecular Spectroscopy

This is the 7th version of the Workshop of Computational Chemistry and Molecular Spectroscopy, which is organized by the Ph.D. Program of Molecular Physical Chemistry (Accredited by 6 years) of the Universidad Andres Bello. This version it is one of the activities of the National Network of Graduate Programs in Physical Sciences, supported by Grant FSM0605 (MECESUP2).

Previous meetings were held at the Facultad de Ciencias, Universidad de Chile (1992), at the Universidad Austral in Valdivia (1996), at the Universidad Andres Bello in Olmue (2002), at the Universidad Andres Bello in Punta de Tralca (2004, 2006 and 2008).

This workshop affords a great opportunity for the professors and graduate students at universities throughout Chile to come together in a relaxed, informal, and pleasant atmosphere to discuss their research. A workshop like this provides a great opportunity for graduate students to learn what other research groups are doing and to learn about new fields of research. This is one of the central purposes of this workshop because researchers and graduate students from all over Chile and elsewhere are here for four days to discuss their research and to explore new ideas.
