On behalf the Organizing Committee I invite you to attend the Bicentennial version of the 7th Workshop of Computational Chemistry and Molecular Spectroscopy to be held in Punta de Tralca from the 19th to the 22nd of October, 2010. The Workshop of Computational Chemistry and Molecular Spectroscopy is organized every two years by the Ph.D. Program in Molecular Physical Chemistry of the Universidad Andres Bello. Is a traditional scientific meeting that seeks to enhance the academic interactions between internationally recognized researchers and graduate students enrolled in Chilean and Latin-American universities.

During the 7th version we will have the opportunity to discuss recent advances in relativistic and non-relativistic quantum molecular sciences, solid state physics, molecular spectroscopy, protein dynamics and current topics in material science covering nanotube photonics, solar cells, nanocatalysis, electrochemistry, molecular clusters, dendrimers, molecular and crystal engineering and functional polymers.

Punta de Tralca is a beautiful beach resort located in the South Pacific Ocean at about 80 miles west from Santiago. Pablo Neruda’s world known home-museum located in Isla Negra it is next to Punta de Tralca.
